Come join one of Charlottesville’s oldest local homebuilders, Craig Builders. As a Customer Representative you’ll be responsible for taking exceptional care of our customers and their Realtor from before the time they purchase a home until after they move in. The Customer Representative is responsible for all sales, marketing, and customer service aspects of their specific community or communities.

This Results Based Position Will Focus On:

  • Work Closely with Vice President of Sales
  • Obtain a full understanding of Craig Builders product including all elements of construction needed for sales
  • Host Model Homes and maintain marketing material
  • Create and use effective methods to increase guest visits such as events, direct mail, social media, prompt follow up, etc.
  • Maintain MLS listings- Real Estate License Optional
  • Prospect to create new leads
  • Meet and Engage Customers
  • Use CRM software to report traffic and appropriately follow up with prospects/customers
  • Demonstrate Home and Homesites both in person and on paper
  • Close and Process Contracts
  • Extensive and total customer care and communication through closing
  • Detailed note taking and creativity to create custom plans
  • Market Analysis
  • Input on product development based on buyer feedback
  • Coordinate Hosts for Model Homes for 4 weekend days and 4 weekdays off each month

  • Desired Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 4 year degree preferred
  • 2 years experience in New Home Sales
  • Proficient with technology and social media
  • New residential construction knowledge a plus
  • Significantly above average communication skills (written and verbal)
  • High drive individual with a history of goal setting
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • The ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external partners
